Refunds, the fair way.

The UGC allows a full refund of fees on cancellation of admission within a defined window, and a slab-based refund thereafter. Here's the short version — the full policy has every detail.

Full refund window

A 100% refund of fees is made on any cancellation or migration of admission up to 30 September 2024.

Minimal processing fee

Cancellations up to 31 October 2024 carry a deduction of no more than ₹1,000 as a processing fee.

Slab-based after that

For schedules extending beyond 31 October 2024, refunds follow the UGC's five-slab structure below.

Full refundNotice of withdrawal received 15 days or more before the formally notified last date of admission.

90%

90% refundNotice received less than 15 days before the formally notified last date of admission.

80%

80% refundNotice received 15 days or less after the formally notified last date of admission.

50%

50% refundNotice received 30 days or less, but more than 15 days after the formally notified last date of admission.

00%

No refundNotice received more than 30 days after the formally notified last date of admission.
